Hi, I’m Rohit — a Toronto-based film and media production student with a deep interest in cinematography, visual storytelling, and advertising. I’m drawn to how images, light, and movement communicate ideas and emotion. I’m currently building my voice through hands-on projects and on-set learning.
My Story
My journey into film comes from a curiosity about how stories can create meaning. I want to learn and tell stories and ideas which will move people. Through film school assignments, I’ve explored camera work, lighting, composition, and visual ideography, learning how creative ideas are planned, executed, and refined. I’m not only interested in just making things look “cool” but also in executing ideas to what it represents.
Alongside school, my experience in fast-paced, team-driven environments has taught me discipline, adaptability, and problem-solving—skills that translate directly to production sets. Right now, I’m focused on learning by doing, assisting wherever needed, and developing the visual instincts required to grow in film and media production.
